2025 USAPL State Championships T$$ Prize Money – Texas Strength Systems
A. Event Description
-
Open to all USA Powerlifting members from: Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Regional Championships and State Championships are the only qualifying meets for Raw Nationals.

A Qualifying Total (QT) achieved in your entered division at this meet qualifies you for that same division & weight class at the 2026 National Meet.

American Records can be set at Regionals. [Record Database Link]

Only Full Meet (3-Lift) competitions are allowed, including Adaptive Athletes and the MX Division.

Pro Cards will be awarded to the best lifter in each division if minimum DOTS (or age-adjusted DOTS) requirements listed on the Pro Series website are met.
B. Requirements to Compete

Must have a current (non-expired) USA Powerlifting Membership on the day of the meet.
(You may sign up with an expired membership but it must be renewed by the meet date.) -
All lifters must have been drug-free for the past 36 months.

A Qualifying Total (QT) must be achieved prior to 08/05/2025:

Must be from a USA Powerlifting-sanctioned 3-lift meet since January 1, 2024, including Regionals or Nationals from 2024.

Regional meet rules and policies are identical to those of National meets.

All lifting equipment and apparel must meet USA Powerlifting technical standards.

Access to the warm-up and coaching areas is restricted to USA Powerlifting members in good standing (athletes, officials, referees, coaches).

E. Meet Schedule
Optional Early Equipment Check
We will offer optional early equipment check-ins from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday and 5:00 to 7:00pm on Friday and Saturday.

You may check in your equipment during this window, regardless of your lifting session. These are the only designated times for early equipment check. Otherwise, regular gear check will only take place 2 hours before your assigned lifting session. Please do not arrive early or attempt gear check during other sessions.
Friday, September 5, 2025 – All Female Lifters
Approximately 72 lifters currently (80 lifter cap)

Session 1 (AM): Weigh-ins starts at 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM; Lifting Begins at 9:00 AM

Session 2 (PM): Weigh-ins starts at 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM; Lifting Begins at 3:00 PM
Saturday, September 6, 2025 – Men up to 90kg
90 lifters currently (cap reached)

Session 1 (AM): Weigh-ins starts at 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM; Lifting Begins at 8:00 AM

Session 2 (PM): Weigh-ins starts at 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM; Lifting Begins at 3:00 PM
Sunday, September 7, 2025 – Men 100kg to 140+kg
80 lifters currently (cap reached)

Session 1 (AM): Weigh-ins starts at 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM; Lifting Begins at 8:00 AM

Session 2 (PM): Weigh-ins starts at 12:30 AM to 2:00 PM; Lifting Begins at 2:30 PM
F. Out-of-State (Guest) Lifters

Only USA Powerlifting members residing in AR, AZ, LA, NM, OK, or TX are eligible for awards and Pro Cards.

Guest lifters (residents outside of those states) may compete, set state and American records, and achieve qualifying totals for Nationals.

Guest lifters must meet all normal entry and qualifying criteria.

If your USA Powerlifting membership address is not in the states listed above, you will be considered a Guest Lifter.

H. Changes & Cancellations
The deadline to change weight class or division is August 22, 2025 at 11:00 PM CST.
Make these changes by logging into the USAPL Registration Portal [HERE]
Lifters can also withdraw themselves by logging into the USAPL Registration Portal.
There are no refunds under any circumstances, as stated when you registered for the meet.
