Warm-Up Area

Coaches & Handlers

This is a one-platform competition with three designated warm-up areas.

A USAPL official will be stationed at the entrance to the warm-up area to verify credentials and monitor access.

Each lifter may have up to two (2) coaches/handlers in the warm-up area.

All coaches and handlers must:

  • Purchase a pass for their session

    (Admission info)

  • Coach/Handler Registration: [HERE]

  • Check in at the Admission table prior to each session.
  • Present a valid 2026 USAPL membership and a government-issued photo ID.
  • Wear the assigned color-coded wristband at all times while in restricted areas.

No exceptions will be made.

Hello Lifters,

As repeatedly stated, each lifter may have up to 2 coaches/handlers. If you are bringing a coach/handler, they must register before the meet:

Please inform or forward all relevant emails & info to them so they are well prepared.

On meet day:

1. Check in at the Admission Table with their USAPL Membership card.
2. Pay the admission fee.

This helps us control the warm-up area and speed up check-in.

Media Policy

  • Southwest Regionals follows the official USAPL Media Policy:
    • Photos and videos of the lifts are allowed only from the audience/spectator area
    • Professional cameras and video equipment are strictly prohibited in the warm-up area.
