Warm-Up Area & Meet Media
This is one of the premier events of the year and follows the exact same rules and standards as Nationals, so treat it like your "Mini Nationals." Come prepared, respect the policies, and carry yourself professionally.
Everything outlined below follows Nationals rules exactly. If you're planning to compete at Nationals, this is your chance to get fully familiar with the expectations and procedures at that level.
Venue Layout & Warm-Up Area Access
This is a one-platform meet with three designated warm-up areas.
Per USAPL policy:
“Access to the warm-up area and the coaching area at all USA Powerlifting sanctioned Regional and National events is restricted to current USA Powerlifting members in good standing. This applies to athletes, officials, referees, and coaches.”
A USAPL official will be stationed at the entrance of the warm-up area to monitor and control access.

Each lifter is allowed up to 2 coaches/handlers in the warm-up area.

All coaches must:

Purchase a spectator pass for the session (details about admission will be sent out in a separate email)

Check in at the front table prior to each session

Present a valid 2025 USAPL membership & Photo ID.

Wear the appropriate color-coded wristband — no exceptions

Media Policy – Please Read Carefully
To comply with the official USA Powerlifting Media Policy, the following rules will be strictly enforced:

No professional cameras or video cameras are allowed in the venue without prior approval.

No professional cameras or video cameras are allowed in the warm-up area under any circumstance.
