2025 USAPL State Championships T$$ Prize Money – Texas Strength Systems

I. Description:

The 2025 USAPL Montana State Championships is open to all USAPL members reside in Montana.  Out of state lifters can sign up as Guest lifters begining on April 1st.  The first month of registration is only open to Montana residents (3/01-3/31).

II. Requirements:
- Must have a non-expired USAPL membership on meet date (2025 year shows on card). 
- For placing in your division & weight class, you must be a Montana resident*, meaning the address shown on your USAPL membership card must be an MT address. You can still compete if you're from out-of-state, see Out-of-state section below. 
- All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.
- No qualifying total needed for this meet.
- Lifting Attire: All competitors must wear a one-piece lifting suit or a wrestling singlet, shoes and a T-Shirt, deadlift socks for deadlift. All equipment must conform to USA Powerlifting rules. See www.USAPowerlifting.com for details.
- "TEAM": Any group of lifters competing as a team at any level of competition must be a team/club officially registered with USA Powerlifting. This mean if you're not in a USAPL registered Team/Club, please do not put anything under "TEAM". Only exceptions are School's name & University/College Powerlifting Teams. Please visit USAPL website to register your Team/Club.

Note: Raw-with-wraps division is for those who wear KNEE WRAPS to Squat.
Raw division includes wearing knee sleeves, wrist wraps, non-compresed singlet.

III. General info:

When: October 11, 2025

Where: Prime Performance & Physio

This will be a one-platform, one-day meet with two sessions, if we have less than 45 lifters sign up, it will be a one session meet.

This meet can be used to:

- Qualify for any Nationals including 2026 Raw Nationals (since this is State Championships).

- Break American Records.  Record database

 

IV. Registration Timeline (meet shirt not included):

Registration opens on April 1.

Early Bird Registration deadline: May 31st - $125

Regular Registration deadline: August 31st - $150

Late Registration: after August 31st - $175

Additional division: $25

 

V. Meet Schedule (tentative):

Optional Early equipment check: Friday (10/10) 6:30PM - 7:30PM @ Prime. (No Weigh-in)

Meet day:

- Session* 1: Regular Check-in with Equipment Check: 7AM. (USAPL ID & Photo ID are required. Show referees everything you're wearing on the platform)

Weigh-in: right after you have your Equipment checked, to no later than 8:30AM (no exception). (openers & rack height are required before you go weigh-in)

Lifting starts at 9:00AM, ends around 1:00PM. 

Awards to follow.

- Session* 2: Regular Check-in with Equipment Check: 12:30AM. (USAPL ID & Photo ID are required. Show referees everything you're wearing on the platform)

Weigh-in: 1PM, to no later than 2:30PM (no exception). (openers & rack height are required before you go weigh-in)

Lifting starts at 3PM, ends around 7:00PM. 

Awards to follow.

*Sessions are breakdown based on gender, weight class & amount of lifters signed up.

VI. Out-of-state (non-Montana resident)

Since this is the Montana State Championships, Out-of-State lifters are welcomed but will be assigned under Guest Lifter Division. See the screenshot from USAPL Rulebook below for more info:

Guest lifters are not eligible for awards within age divisions. 

Guest lifters may set state and American records and may earn a qualifying total for a national meet.

Guest lifters are subject to all normal rules of competition and must meet the same qualifying criteria to enter the meet.

* We will have awards for Guest Lifters based on DOTS points.

(If you are currently residing in Montana but still have an out-of-state address on your USAPL card, if you want, you can change it to your MT address on the USAPL Membership website, to avoid competing as a Guest Lifter. Once changed, please let us know)

VII. Changes after signing up:
