Registration Timeline:
Early Bird Registration: $70 - 11/01 to 12/31
Regular Registration: $95 - 1/01 to 2/28
Late Registration: $120 - 3/01 to 3/31 (is spots are still available)
Early Equipment Check: Friday evening, April 11th (see details below)
Meet Day: Sunday, April 13, 2025
1. USAPL Membership (required): USAPL Cards can be purchased online at www.usapowerlifting.com.
All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.
Awards will be given to 1st – 3rd in each weight class. Male & Female best lifter each receive a $500 TSS gift card.
Equipped Lifting: Suits & shirts must be made of a poly type material. Those made out of elastic material like Bench Daddies are not allowed. Knee wraps must not exceed 2m in length and cannot have velcro. Squat briefs are not permitted. A lifter may compete equipped in one lift and raw in other lifts if they choose. A t-shirt must be worn under the squat suit and it cannot be a compression shirt.
Drug Testing: You must be drug free for at least 36 months prior to the date of this meet to be eligible to compete. At least 10% of all lifters will be tested by urinalysis. Banned substances include but are not limited to anabolic steroids and growth hormones. The complete list of banned substances is available on the web site of the World Anti-Doping Agency (see www.WADA-ama.org).
Lifting Attire: All competitors must wear a one piece lifting suit or a wrestling singlet, shoes and a T-Shirt. All equipment must conform to USA Powerlifting rules. See www.USAPowerlifting.com for details.
No qualifying total needed for this meet.
Meet Schedule:
Early equipment check TBA. At check ins You will need to show us your current USAPL membership card (digital is acceptable), along with photo ID (DL, school ID, military ID, passport, birth certification if youth lifter, etc.) & everything you are wearing to compete. We recommend looking over the Lifters Handbook and New Lifter Tips on the USA Powerlifting site.
Meet day:
Session breakdown and times will be determined as registration fills up. Ideally, we would like to have a women's session and a men's session.
Changes after signing up:
Please see www.texasstrengthsystems.com/pages/meets for any meet change request including weight class, division, team name, etc.. Any division(s) add or changes or add won’t be accepted within 2 weeks out from the date of the meet.
For cancellations & refund, please first visit texasstrengthsystems.com/meets for the Cancellation Policies and send us an email with your info for cancellation request.
American Records: If you are attempting American Record, please let us know ahead and be sure to bring a physical copy of your ID or birth certificate so we can mail them to the National Office. Please note that American records are tracked as teenage records so lifters are eligible to break these records based on their age: Teen 1 (14-15), Teen II (16-17), Teen III (18-19). These teen records can only be broken by 2.5kg increments at this meet (record chips cannot be used).
Admission will be TBD at the door, apply for everyone, including all those attending to spectate (family & friends), coach, and handler as well. Lifters who are competing in this meet do not have to pay.
