I. Description:

The 2026 USAPL Oklahoma State Championships is open to all USAPL members in Oklahoma and the surrounding states. Registration for Oklahoma residents opens October 1st. Out of state lifters can register beginning November 1st.

II. Requirements:
- Must have a non-expired USAPL membership on meet date (2025). Expired membership can be used to signed up. 
- For placing in your division & weight class, you must be an Oklahoma residents*, meaning the address shown on your USAPL membership card must be an Oklahoma address. You can still compete if you're from out-of-state, see Out-of-state section below. 

- All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.
- No qualifying total needed for this meet.

III. General info:

When: Sunday February 15, 2026

Where: Brewhouse Barbell, OKC

This will be a one-platform with 2 sessions if more than 45 lifters register.

This meet can be used to:

- Qualify for any Nationals including 2026 Raw Nationals (since this is State Championships).

- Break American Records.  Record database

IV. Registration Timeline (meet shirt not included):

Registration opens for Oklahoma Residents on October 1st

Registration opens for out of state lifters on November 1st

Early Bird Registration deadline: November 7th - $105

Regular Registration deadline: December 31st - $135

Late Registration: from January 1st to January 31st - $165

Additional division: $25

 

V. Tentative Meet Schedule: 

  • Session 1:
    • Equipment check & Weigh-ins: 7:00 to 8:30AM
      • USAPL Membership Card, Photo ID, & Openers in KG needed
    • Lifting starts at 9:00 AM, and ends around 1:30 PMAwards to follow.
  • Session 2:
    • Equipment check: 12:30 to 2:00PM & 
      • USAPL Membership Card & Photo ID needed
    • Weigh-ins: 1:00 to 2:30PM
      • Photo ID & Openers in KG needed
    • Lifting starts at 3:00 PM and ends around 7:30 PM. Awards to follow.
Check-in process: First, USAPL ID and Photo ID (birth certificate or passport for Youth Lifters) are required. Second, show referees everything you're wearing on the platform.

** Weigh-in will be based on LOT# order (assigned ~ one-week out). Per the rulebook → Lifters have three options to weigh in: 1. in the nude, 2. wearing only their undergarments/underwear, or 3. wearing a singlet and/or T-shirt.

VI. Out-of-state (non-Oklahoma resident)

Since this is the Oklahoma State Championships, Out-of-State lifters are welcomed but will be assigned under Guest Lifter Division. See the screenshot from USAPL Rulebook below for more info:

Guest lifters are not eligible for awards within age divisions. 

Guest lifters may set state and American records and may earn a qualifying total for a national meet.

Guest lifters are subject to all normal rules of competition and must meet the same qualifying criteria to enter the meet.

* Guest lifters can qualify for 2026 USAPL Raw Nationals.

* We will have awards for Guest Lifters based on DOTS points (1st, 2nd & 3rd place Male & Female).

(If you are currently residing in Oklahoma but still have an out-of-state address on your USAPL card, if you want, you can change it to your OK address on the USAPL Membership website, to avoid competing as a Guest Lifter. Once changed, please let us know)

VII. Changes after signing up:

For any meet change request including weight class, division, team name, etc.. Any division(s) add or changes or add won’t be accepted within 2 weeks out from the date of the meet.
