The Texas Collegiate State Championships is the premier USA Powerlifting meet for college athletes in Texas. This two-day, two-platform event is open to all USAPL Collegiate members who attend a Texas university and provides the opportunity to qualify for Nationals and break American Records.

🏆 Eligibility

To compete, lifters must:

  • Membership: Hold a valid (unexpired) USAPL membership on meet day (2025 or 2026).

    • You may register now and purchase/renew your membership on November 1 so it covers 2025.

  • Student Status: Be an active student at a Texas university (out-of-state residents currently enrolled in a Texas school are eligible).

    • Example: A Louisiana resident enrolled at the University of Texas qualifies.

  • Drug-Free: Have been drug-free for the past 36 months per USAPL rules.

  • Dates: Saturday & Sunday, November 22–23, 2025

  • Location: Texas Strength Systems, San Antonio, TX

  • Format: 2 platforms | 2 days | 3–4 sessions (final schedule TBA)

This State Championship is a National Qualifier and allows for:

  • Nationals Qualification: Qualify for any 2026 USAPL Nationals, including Raw Nationals.

  • American Records: Break any American Record.

    • Non-Collegiate records must be exceeded by +2.5 kg.

    • Collegiate records can be chipped by +0.5 kg.

    • Weight class & division declaration due → Submit HERE

    • Opening attempts due (can be changed up to 3 min before your flight)

  • Nov 21 (Fri)

    • 6–8 PM: Early Equipment Check (tentative)

    • 8 PM: Final scoring rosters due

  • Spectator Admission: $20 at the door (cash/card)

    • Free for: Lifters, TSS-SATX members, children under 10

🔧 Warm-Up Area

Only lifters, coaches, and volunteers with a valid USAPL membership or signed waiver are allowed in the warm-up area. Violations may result in disqualification or removal.
