1. USAPL Membership (required): USAPL Cards can be purchased online at www.usapowerlifting.com. 

All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.

Awards will be given to 1st – 3rd in each age and weigh division in powerlifting, bench press, and deadlift. Special awards will be given to best lifters and to teams.

There are Equipped, Raw with Wraps and Raw divisions.

Raw Lifting: As of September 1, 2007 “Raw” lifting rules require all competitors to wear a regulation one piece non supportive lifting suit. Wrist wraps and belts are OK.  Neoprene knee sleeves are OK. No other support gear is allowed. Only raw gear approved by USAPL is permitted. See www.USAPowerlifting.com

Drug Testing: You must be drug free for at least 36 months prior to the date of this meet to be eligible to compete. At least 10% of all lifters will be tested by urinalysis.   Banned substances include but are not limited to anabolic steroids and growth hormones. The complete list of banned substances is available on the web site of the World Anti-Doping Agency (see www.WADA-ama.org).

Lifting Attire: All competitors must wear a one piece lifting suit or a wrestling singlet, shoes and a T-Shirt. All equipment must conform to USA Powerlifting rules. See www.USAPowerlifting.com for details.

 

First Meet Email:

1. Roster & Schedule:  Please have LiftingCast on your device to stay up to date and see where your flight is at. 

LiftingCast Roster → Click here. We've planned for this to be a one-day with two sessions, one-platform meet. Flights & Lot numbers will be assigned when it's closer to meet day. Flights & Lot # are typically assigned based on your weight classes & divisions.

Here's the breakdown of the tentative lifting schedule:

Meet day: October 19,2024 at Forever Strong Gym 

Session 1 - Saturday AM:

> Regular Check-in with Equipment Check: 7AM. 

First, USAPL ID & Photo ID (birth certificate or passport for Youth Lifters) are required. 

Second, show referees everything you're wearing on the platform.

>> Weigh-in*: right after you have your Equipment checked, to no later than 8:30AM (no exception). (openers & rack height are required before you go weigh-in)

* Weigh-in will be based on LOT# order (assigned ~ one-week out). Per the rulebook → Lifters have three options to weigh in: 1. in the nude, 2. wearing only their undergarments/underwear, or 3. wearing a singlet and/or T-shirt.

>>> Lifting starts at 9:00AM, and ends around 1:30PM. Awards to follow.

Session 2 - Saturday PM:

> Regular Check-in with Equipment Check: 12:30PM. 

First, USAPL ID & Photo ID (birth certificate or passport for Youth Lifters) are required. 

Second, show referees everything you're wearing on the platform.

>> Weigh-in*: 1PM, to no later than 2:30PM (no exception). (openers & rack height are required before you go weigh-in)

* Weigh-in will be based on LOT# order (assigned ~ one-week out). Per the rulebook → Lifters have three options to weigh in: 1. in the nude, 2. wearing only their undergarments/underwear, or 3. wearing a singlet and/or T-shirt.

>>> Lifting starts at 3:00PM, and ends around 7:00PM. Awards to follow.

 

2. Equipment Check: Early equipment check is optional but recommended and will be on Friday 10/18 from 6:30PM - 7:30PM at Forever Strong. You will need to show us your active USAPL membership card (digital is acceptable) along with photo ID (DL, school ID, military ID, passport, birth certificate if youth lifter, etc.) & everything you are wearing to compete (see list below).

Please remember it is your responsibility to follow the Rulebook. 4. Rack Heights: TSS combo racks will be used for meet day, please submit them using the link. Since we don't have Early Equipment Check-in, we encourage you to input your rack heights now if you already know them and not wait until meet day. ALL TSS racks are built the same whether they are new or old.

5. Meet T-shirt: Please be sure to pick up your meet shirt IF you have pre-ordered one at registration. We will have a link set up & send out if you want to purchase them online before the meet. We will have a limited amount to sell at the meet as well.

6. Waiver: - For non-USAPL member coaches, they can either get a non-competing membership, or sign the waiver online, required by USAPL https://form.jotform.com/81291659084161

- If you have your own photographers/videographers, they must be in the audience area. 
Lifters & Coaches who violate these rules will be disqualified from the meet.

7. Changes or Withdraw:

- Submit changes to weight class, division, team name HERE. Same link for adding division(s).

   We get over 100+ emails & can't guarantee that we receive your emails regarding changes, so please submit those changes per instruction above so everything can be in one place.

- Any division(s) add/changes or weight class change won’t be accepted within 2 weeks out from the date of the meet. 

- For cancellation, please visit our Cancellation Policies  & submit the cancellation form on the same website.
