Here is the second email for 2026 USAPL Southwest Regionals.

This email contains critical meet information. Lifters and handlers/coaches are equally responsible for knowing these details.

  • If a topic is not addressed, it generally means it does not apply to the meet. 

Roster:

Southwest Regionals Roster

Day & Sessions: Assigned (times for each session are shown on the meet website) 2026 USAPL Southwest Regionals.
Flights: Assigned approximately two weeks before the meet
Lot Numbers: Assigned approximately one week before the meet

Weigh-ins are conducted by lot number, not on a first-come, first-served basis. If you miss your call, you will be moved to the end of the line.

Registration Changes

Weight classdivision changes, or withdrawals must be completed by you through the Registration Portal.

Deadline for changes:

August 21, 2026 – 11:00 PM Central Time
No weight class changes are permitted after the 14-day deadline in accordance with the USAPL Rulebook.
If an athlete does not make weight at weigh-ins, they may compete as a Guest Lifter in accordance with USAPL rules.

Southwest Regionals is a championship-level event, and we encourage all athletes to treat it as a mini Nationals.

Regionals follows the same rules and procedures as Nationals, including those related to meet procedures, approved equipment, weigh-ins, attempts, qualifying totals, apparel, coaching, and competition conduct.

The vast majority of questions are answered in these resources. Before contacting us, please review the available information first. This helps us spend less time responding to questions that have already been addressed and more time preparing an outstanding championship for everyone.

Meet Media

  • Southwest Regionals follows the official USAPL Media Policy:
    • Photos and videos of the lifts are allowed only from the audience/spectator area
    • Professional cameras and video equipment are strictly prohibited in the warm-up area.
