July 6 Email – Tentative Competition Schedule & First Meet Update
Hello Lifters,
Thank you for registering for the 2026 USAPL Southwest Regionals! We're excited to host athletes from across the region and wanted to share our first meet update.
The tentative schedule below is intended to help with your travel planning. Please note that all sessions remain subject to change until registration closes and final start lists are published.
Tentative Competition Schedule
Friday, September 4 – All Female Lifters
-
We currently have 32 female lifters registered, which would result in one afternoon session.
-
If registrations exceed 45 female lifters, Friday will expand to two sessions, with the lighter weight classes competing in the morning.
Saturday, September 5 – Men 52 kg through 82.5 kg
-
Based on current registrations, 90 kg men would compete in the second Saturday session.
-
Depending on final registration numbers, the 90 kg class could move to Sunday morning.
Sunday, September 6 – Men 100 kg through 140+ kg
-
We are currently projected to have one session.
-
If registrations continue to increase, Sunday may expand to two sessions.
Please remember that this schedule is tentative and based on current registration numbers. Session assignments may change as registration continues or if athletes withdraw.
