2026 USAPL TSS 18th Iron Wars

A general meet information email will be sent to all registered lifters approximately one month before the meet.

Meet Description

  • The 2026 USAPL Iron Wars is a local meet open to lifters of all experience levels.

  • Because this is a local meet, results cannot be used to qualify for Raw Nationals. However, they can be used to qualify for State Championships, Regionals, and other National Championships.

  • This event will run as a one-day meet with one platform.

Requirements

  • Lifters must have a valid USAPL membership on the meet date (2026 must be shown on the card).

  • All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.

  • No qualifying total is required to compete.

Saturday, September 12

Session 1

  • Check-in & Equipment Check: 7:00 AM

    • Present your 2026 USAPL membership card and Photo ID

    • Lifters must show referees all equipment/clothing worn on the platform

  • Weigh-ins: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM (no exceptions)

    • Openers must be submitted at weigh-in.

  • Lifting Begins: 9:30 AM

  • Estimated End Time: ~1:00 PM. Awards to follow.

Session 2 

  • Check-in & Equipment Check: 12:30 PM

    • Present your 2026 USAPL membership card and Photo ID

    • Lifters must show referees all equipment/clothing worn on the platform

  • Weigh-ins: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM (no exceptions)

    • Openers must be submitted at weigh-in.

  • Lifting Begins: 3:00 PM

  • Estimated End Time: ~7:00 PM. Awards to follow.

Registration Timeline

(Meet shirt not included)

  • Early Bird: $100 (Deadline: June 1)

  • Regular: $125 (Deadline: August 1)

  • Late Registration: $150 (After August 1, if space remains — check LiftingCast)

Additional division: $25

Changes After Registration

  • For weight class/division changes, Cancellation or Transfer, forms can be found [HERE↗]. Requests submitted by email will not be processed.

Admission & Parking

  • Spectator & Coach/Handler Admission: $20 at the door (cash/Venmo/CashApp/Zelle) | $21 for card payment.

  • Free for: Lifters of this meet, TSS-SATX gym members, children under 10

Warm-Up Area

Only lifters, coaches, and volunteers with a valid USAPL membership or signed waiver are allowed in the warm-up area. Violations may result in disqualification or removal.
