Meet Details

  • Date: May 2, 2026

  • Location: Maverick Center – CMU Rec (1040 Mesa Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501)

  • Open to all current USAPL members

  • General meet information email will be sent approximately 6 weeks prior to the meet

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid (non-expired) USAPL membership on meet day (2026)

  • All lifters must be drug-free for the past 36 months

  • No qualifying total required

Lifting Attire Required for all

  • All competitors must wear a one-piece lifting suit or a wrestling singlet, shoes and a T-Shirt, deadlift socks for deadlift.

  • All equipment must comply with USAPL standards

Team Information

  • Teams must be officially registered with USAPL

  • If you are not part of any team on the active USAPL club [LIST], leave the "Team" field blank.

  • Exceptions: School names & university/college teams

Divisions

  • Raw-with-Wraps: Includes knee wraps for squat

  • Raw: Includes knee sleeves, wrist wraps, non-compressive singlet

Meet Format

  • One session / One platform

  • Lot numbers assigned: 1 week prior

Schedule 

Saturday, May 2

  • Equipment Check: 7:30 – 8:30 AM

  • Weigh-ins: 8:00 – 9:30 AM (no exceptions)

  • Lifting Begins: 10:00 AM; ends around 3:30PM

  • Awards: Immediately following lifting

Check-In Process

  • Present:

    • USAPL membership card

    • Any form of photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, School ID, or Birth Certificate)

  • Everything that you wear on the platform must be inspected at check-in

  • Weigh-ins conducted based on lot number order (not first-come-first-serve)

Admission

  • Fee: $15 per person for spectators, coaches, handlers, etc..

  • Free for all competing lifters & 10 y.o. and below children.

  • Parking: Unity Field Parking Garage (East of the Maverick Center on 12th Street)

  • Must be current (expires Dec 31, 2026)

  • Renew existing memberships, if you have to create a new number, please email us the new card.

Warm-Up Area & Waiver
