2026 USAPL State Championships T$$ Prize Money – Texas Strength Systems
Meet Dates: January 17 and 18, 2025
Location: TSS-SATX- 2418 Boardwalk St, San Antonio, TX 78217.

I. Description:
- This is a State level meet, a qualifying total (QTs) is required. (see link above)
- This meet will be for Texas Residents only, meaning the address shown on your USAPL Membership card must be in Texas.
- Full-meet only (Squat, Bench & Deadlift).
- Both Raw and Equipped divisions are offered, each with its own qualifying total (QT) requirements listed on the website. Athletes may not register under the Equipped division simply to bypass Raw requirements. Once registered under Equipped, switching to Raw is not allowed unless there is a valid and approved reason.
- This meet can be used to:
- Qualify for any Nationals including 2026 Raw Nationals (since this is State Championships).
- Break American Records.
General meet info email will be sending out around 2-month out or once registration fills, whichever comes first.
II. Requirements:
- A qualifying total (QT) is required for each division & weight class. Qualifying Total Requirement
- Must be from a USA Powerlifting-sanctioned 3-lift meet since January 1, 2024, including Regionals or Nationals from 2024.
- This meet will be for Texas Residents only, meaning the address shown on your USAPL Membership card must be in Texas.
- Both Raw and Equipped divisions are offered, each with its own qualifying total (QT) requirements listed on the website. Athletes may not register under the Equipped division simply to bypass Raw requirements. Once registered under Equipped, switching to Raw is not allowed unless there is a valid and approved reason.
- Must have a non-expired USAPL membership on meet date (2026). If you need to renew your USAPL membership, you can still register for the meet now, and renew the membership on November 1st so that it covers 2026 as well.
- All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.
III. Registration timeline:
- Early Bird : August 1 to August 31 $125 (See QT Requirement Link)
- Regular : September 1 to October 31 $150
- Late : November 1 to December 31 $175
Registration closes after December 31 or when meet cap is met.
Meet shirt is optional add-on.
IV. Meet Schedule: Please note this is only tentative.
- Session 1: Saturday, January 17
- Session 2: Saturday, January 17
- Session 3: Sunday, January 18
- Session 4: Sunday, January 18
Awards to follow each session. Best Male & Female Lifter Awards at the end of Session 4.
Sessions will be broken down based on gender > weight class > amount of lifters signed up.

- If you signed up without meeting the required qualifications during the specified timeline, you will be removed from the roster and will need to re-register. No refunds will be issued.
- If you signed up without being a Texas resident, you will be removed from the roster and no refunds will be issue

By registering for the 2026 Texas State Championships, lifters confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
1. Registration Timeline & Requirements
Lifters have reviewed and meet all qualification requirements as outlined in the registration details.
2. Drug Testing Policy
Lifters understand that they must have been drug-free for a minimum of 36 months prior to the date of the meet to be eligible to compete.
3. Lifting Attire
All lifting attire and equipment must fully comply with USA Powerlifting rules and standards.
4. Coach/Handler Waiver Requirement
Any coach or handler without an active USAPL membership must sign the USAPL Express Assumption of Risk, Release of Claims and Liability and Indemnity Agreement and present a screenshot of the completed form at check-in in order to receive a coach’s wristband.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All cancellation requests form must be submitted here: [Meet Cancellation/Transfer]
More than 2 months before meet day: A $25 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund (e.g., $75 registration = $50 refund).
Between 1 and 2 months before meet day: 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
Less than 1 month before meet day: No refunds will be issued.
Important Exception: Certain violations of eligibility or division requirements—such as registering without meeting qualifying totals, or registering as a non-Texas resident—will result in removal from the roster with no refund, as detailed in the Additional Division, Residency & Qualification Policies section below.
Do not register if you do not agree to or respect this policy.
6. Code of Conduct
All participants must adhere to the USAPL Code of Conduct at all times.
7. Responsibility to Stay Informed
It is the athlete’s responsibility to read and understand all meet-related information provided by organizers, including the USAPL Rulebook.
**Additional Division, Residency & Qualification Policies of Texas State Championships**
Division Integrity
Registering for the Equipped division solely to bypass Raw qualifying totals is prohibited.
Once registered as Equipped, switching to Raw is not allowed unless a valid and approved reason is provided and accepted by meet directors.
Qualification Requirements
Athletes who register without meeting the qualifying total within the specified timeline will be removed from the roster and must re-register once eligible.
No refunds will be issued in these cases.
Residency Requirement
This meet is restricted to Texas residents only.
If you register and are not a Texas resident, your registration will be canceled and no refund will be issued.
