Description

  • The 2026 USAPL SUMMER POWER FEST is open to all USAPL members.
  • This will be a local level; one-day, one-platform meet.
  • General meet info email will be sending out around 1.5-month out to lifters who signed up.

Requirements:

  • Must have a non-expired USAPL membership on meet date (2026). 
  • All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.
  • No qualifying total needed for this meet.
  • Lifting Attire: All competitors must wear a one piece lifting suit or a wrestling singlet, shoes and a T-Shirt. All equipment must conform to USA Powerlifting rules. See www.USAPowerlifting.com for details.


General info:

When: Saturday, June 20, 2026

Where: George R. Brown Convention Center - The Branch Warren Classic Expo.

  • Please note this meet is a part of a large fitness expo with many different events and shows.
  • Admission can be purchased online or at the door. Online [LINK]: Please select "General Admission Morning Events (Pre-judging) Strongman, Powerlifting". Use code BWC2026 for a discounted registration rate.
  • Admission is only free for lifters/athletes of the participated events. 
  • [Direction & Parking] We are in Hall A, Rusk Street side of the building.

 

Meet Schedule: This will be a 1-session, 2 Platform meet

  • There's no optional early Equipment check nor Weigh-in.
  • EQ Check: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM. 
    • Have the USAPL card (physical or digital) along with your photo ID ready to be presented at check-in or please do not stand in-line if they're not pulled up.
  • Weigh-ins: 8:30 - 10:00 AM (no exception).
    • Openers are required to be submitted to the Weigh-in Officials before stepping on scale.
  • Lifting: 10:30 AM to ~ 4:30 PM. Awards to follow.
