Event Details

Schedule:

Sunday, May 17 – Meet Day

• 7:30 AM: Check-in & Equipment Check - Present USAPL Membership Card & Photo ID, then show referees everything you're wearing on the platform.

• Weigh-in: 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. No exception (openers are submitted at weigh-in)

• Lifting Begins: 10:00 AM

• Awards Ceremony: ~2:00 PM

Admission

• Admission Fee: $10 at the door (applies to everyone). Pay at the door to New Roots.
• Free Admission: Lifters of this meet and 12yo & younger.

Meet Overview

• The 2026 USAPL Route 66 Classic is a local-level powerlifting meet open to all experience levels.

• Not a Raw Nationals qualifier, but results can be used to qualify for:

  • High School, Collegiate, Bench & Equipped Nationals
  • State Championships

  • Regionals

• One-day, single-platform meet with one session.
  

Requirements to Compete

• Must have a valid (non-expired) USAPL membership by meet day (shows 2026 on card).

• Drug-Free Status: Lifters must have been drug-free for the past 36 months.

• No qualifying total is required for this meet.

• Lifting Attire Requirements:

  • One-piece lifting suit or wrestling singlet

  • T-shirt, shoes, and deadlift socks

  • Optional: knee sleeves (Raw) or knee wraps (Raw w/ Wraps)

  • All gear must comply with USAPL rules

• Divisions Explained:

  • Raw: Includes knee sleeves, wrist wraps, non-compression singlet

  • Raw w/ Wraps: For athletes using knee wraps during squat

Full Gallery Package – $100
All edited meet photos captured of the athlete, including attempts, candids, and highlight moments.

Standard Package – $75
Up to 10 edited images with at least one image from each event/lift.

Early Signup Discount
Book before meet day and receive the Full Gallery Package for $90.

Photos will be delivered via online gallery/Google Drive with high-resolution downloads available for 30 days.

Registration Fees & Deadlines

•   Early Bird: $120 (deadline: December 31, 2025)
    Regular: $145 (January 1st – March 31st)
    Late: $175 (after March 31st, if space remains — check LiftingCast)
