Meet Overview

The 2026 USAPL Route 66 Classic is a local-level powerlifting meet open to all experience levels.

Not a Raw Nationals qualifier, but results can be used to qualify for:
- High School, Collegiate, Bench & Equipped Nationals
- State Championships

Regionals

One-day, single-platform meet with two sessions: AM & PM

Requirements to Compete

Must have a valid (non-expired) USAPL membership by meet day (shows 2026 on card).

Drug-Free Status: Lifters must have been drug-free for the past 36 months.

No qualifying total is required for this meet.

Lifting Attire Requirements:

One-piece lifting suit or wrestling singlet
-
T-shirt, shoes, and deadlift socks
-
Optional: knee sleeves (Raw) or knee wraps (Raw w/ Wraps)

All gear must comply with USAPL rules

Divisions Explained:
-
Raw: Includes knee sleeves, wrist wraps, non-compression singlet
-
Raw w/ Wraps: For athletes using knee wraps during squat

Sunday, May 17 – Meet Day

7:00 AM: Check-in & Equipment Check
- Present USAPL Membership Card & Photo ID, then show referees everything you're wearing on the platform.

Weigh-in: Immediately after equipment check, ends at 8:30 AM, no exception (openers are required before stepping on scale)

Lifting Begins: 9:00 AM

Awards Ceremony: ~1:00 PM
Registration Fees & Deadlines
- Early Bird: $120 (deadline: December 31, 2025)
Regular: $145 (January 1st – March 31st)
Late: $175 (after March 31st, if space remains — check LiftingCast) -
Additional Division: $25
