General meet info email will be sending out around 1.5-month out to lifters who signed up.

I. Descriptions:

- The 2025 USAPL Magic City Showdown is a local meet that is open to all level powerlifters.

- Since it's a local meet, it can't be used to qualify for Raw Nationals. However, it can be used to qualify for State Championships & Regionals.

- This will be a one-day meet with one platform, two sessions, AM & PM. Tentative schedule shown below.

II. Requirements:

- Must have a non-expired USAPL membership (2025 shown on card). 
- All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.
- No qualifying total needed for this meet.
- Lifting Attire: All competitors must wear a one piece lifting suit or a wrestling singlet, shoes and a T-Shirt, deadlift socks for deadlift. All equipment must conform to USA Powerlifting rules. See www.USAPowerlifting.com for details.

Note: Raw-with-wraps division is for those who wear KNEE WRAPS to Squat.
Raw division includes wearing knee sleeves, wrist wraps, non-compresed singlet.

III. Schedule (tentative):

Optional Early equipment check: TBA

Meet day:

- Equipment check: 7:30 to 9am

- Weigh-in: 8:00AM - 9:30AM 

- Lifting starts at 10AM & ends at 1:00PM 

IV. Registration Timeline (meet shirt not included):

       Early Bird Registration: $105 (Deadline - June 30)

       Regular Registration: $130 (Deadline - August 31)

       Late Registration: $155 (after August 31 if spots still available) 

 Additional division: $25.


IV. Changes after signing up:

For any meet change request including weight class, division, team name, etc.. Any division(s) add or changes or add won’t be accepted within 2 weeks out from the date of the meet.
