This meet is a part of the USA Fit Games Expo. It will be a one-day, two-platform meet.

When: July 6th, 2024 

Where: Orange County Convention Center

General meet info email will be sending out around 2-month out to lifters who signed up.

The 2024 USAPL Sunshine State Showdown is open to all currently registered USAPL members. 

1. USAPL Membership (required): USAPL Cards can be purchased online at www.usapowerlifting.com. 

All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.

2. Registration Timeline: 

Early Bird Registration: $120 (Deadline - February 29th)

Regular Registration: $145 (March 1st - May 31st)

Late Registration: $170 (June 1st - June 22nd)

1. Please please please make sure you review all information we have been sending out via emails. Since this is a "Reply to" email, you can find all previous emails below this one. 90% of the information in this email is repeated from previous ones. 
- Roster: Lot # and Platforms have been assigned. Save the link on your phone or send to family & friends, navigate to the page Menu for lifting order option during the meet.
- Detailed schedule is in our previous email or on our website.
- There is no Early check-in. 
Submit your rack heights if you already know them. All TSS racks whether old or new have the same heights. 
Bench Rack Safety * Please only input NUMBER.  Do not put “0” or "No". Standard rack safety is 3, 4 & 5.
If you have your own photographers/videographers, they must be in the audience area. 
 
2. Admission ticket (exclude Lifters only, coaches must also buy tickets) & Expo ParkingEXPO INFO  
- For Lifters: when you come inside, just look for this USAPL Registration sign below. 
 If you are a session 2 lifter and would like to come inside the Expo to watch your female friends lifting, we will have a 30 minute window from 8:30am to no later than 9am to check in (after all women have checked in). This will allow you to get your lifter's wristband to enter the Expo early without paying.  Regular session 2 check-ins will still be at 12:30pm and session 2 weigh-ins will still be from 1 to 2:30pm.  Session 2 lifting start time is still 3pm. 
 
Again, everyone (parents, children, coaches, handlers, etc.) will have to pay a ticket to enter the Expo itself, only the competitors are excluded.

- Please stand in the correct line based on your platform # at check-in. 
 
4. Weigh-in: (Session 1: 7:30AM - 9AM / Session 2: 1PM - 2:30PM)
- Line up based on your Lot number order.
- Have your openers ready in KILO & read them to the weigh-in officials when it's your turn.
- Allowable weigh-in apparel: nude, or wearing only undergarments, or wearing a singlet with or without a t-shirt.
- Weight class will be determined based on your bodyweight after you weigh-in.

If you have your own photographers/videographers, they must be in the audience area. Lifters who violate this will be disqualified from the meet. 
 
7. Coaches/Handler additional Information:
- Each lifter will be allowed to have only coach/handler in the warm-up area, no exception.  Please submit the form below with your coach's name and email address if you haven't. COACH/HANDLER INFO
- For non-USAPL member coaches, you can either get a non-competing membership, or sign the waiver online, required by USAPL. See link below for waiver:
- Coach's wristband will be handed to you at Coach check-in. The band only allows you to be in the warm-up area, you will still have to pay an audience's ticket to get in the expo. 
If you have your own photographers/videographers, they must be in the audience area. 
- Lifters & Coaches who violate this will be disqualified from the meet.
8. Changes or Withdraw: Any changes to weight class will be after you weigh-in. 
- For cancellation, please first visit our Cancellation Policies  & then send us an email with your info for cancellation request.
A well-prepared lifter always achieves a better meet.
