Registration Opens: September 1st

Meet info:
1. USAPL Membership (required): USAPL Cards can be purchased online at www.usapowerlifting.com.
Please note that if this will be your first meet of 2024, you can wait until November 1st to purchase your USAPL membership but if you already have it, please submit it when registering.
All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.
Awards will be given to 1st – 3rd in each age and weigh division in powerlifting, bench press, and deadlift. Special awards will be given to best lifters and to teams.
There are Equipped, Raw with Wraps and Raw divisions.
Raw Lifting: As of September 1, 2007 “Raw” lifting rules require all competitors to wear a regulation one piece non supportive lifting suit. Wrist wraps and belts are OK. Neoprene knee sleeves are OK. No other support gear is allowed. Only raw gear approved by USAPL is permitted. See www.USAPowerlifting.com
Drug Testing: You must be drug free for at least 36 months prior to the date of this meet to be eligible to compete. At least 10% of all lifters will be tested by urinalysis. Banned substances include but are not limited to anabolic steroids and growth hormones. The complete list of banned substances is available on the web site of the World Anti-Doping Agency (see www.WADA-ama.org).
Lifting Attire: All competitors must wear a one piece lifting suit or a wrestling singlet, shoes and a T-Shirt. All equipment must conform to USA Powerlifting rules. See www.USAPowerlifting.com for details.
No qualifying total needed for this meet.

Session 1 (Saturday 04/27 AM):
> Regular Check-in with Equipment Check: 7AM. (USAPL ID & Photo ID (birth certificate or passport for Youth Lifters) are required. Show referees everything you're wearing on the platform)
>> Weigh-in*: right after you have your Equipment checked, to no later than 8:30AM (no exception). (openers are required before you go weigh-in)
>>> Lifting starts at 9:00AM, and ends around 12:30 PM. Awards to follow.
Session 2 (Saturday 04/27 PM):
> Regular Check-in with Equipment Check: 11:30PM. (USAPL ID & Photo ID (birth certificate or passport for Youth Lifters) are required. Show referees everything you're wearing on the platform)
>> Weigh-in*: at 12PM, after you have your Equipment checked, to no later than 1:30PM (no exception). (openers are required before you go weigh-in)
>>> Lifting starts at 2:00PM, and ends around 7:30PM. Awards to follow.
Session 3 (Sunday 04/28):
> Regular Check-in with Equipment Check: 7AM. (USAPL ID & Photo ID (birth certificate or passport for Youth Lifters) are required. Show referees everything you're wearing on the platform)
>> Weigh-in*: right after you have your Equipment checked, to no later than 8:30AM (no exception). (openers are required before you go weigh-in)
>>> Lifting starts at 9:00AM, and ends around 1:30PM. Awards to follow.
I also want to add to the weigh-in rule that you cannot go weigh-in fully clothes, shoes must be taken off & socks are optional.
Bench Rack Safety * - Please only input NUMBER. Please do not put “0”.
Standard rack safety is 3, 4 & 5. Putting safeties too high might result in plates hitting the safeties. There are also Side Spotters for bench, if you fail, the spotters will catch the weights.

4. Waiver: Anyone in the warm up room must have signed a liability form. Anyone with a current membership (athletes, coach, referee) has the liability automatically signed with their membership. All volunteers and non-members must sign the Liability Waiver, found here: https://form.jotform.com/
5. Guest Lifter: Since this is the Indiana State Championships, Out-of-State lifters will be assigned under Guest Lifter Division. See the screenshot from USAPL Rulebook below for more info:
* Guest lifters are not eligible for regular weight class & division awards.
* Guest lifters may set state and American records and may earn a qualifying total for a national meet.

8. American Record: If you are attempting American Record, please let us know ahead and be sure to bring a physical copy of your ID or birth certificate so we can mail them to the National Office.
Admission will be TBD at the door, apply for everyone, including all those attending to spectate (family & friends), coach, and handler as well. Lifters who are competing in this meet do not have to pay.
