TX-2024-15 Lifter's Handbook New Lifter Tips USAPL Membership

 

This meet is named after two biggest sponsors of the meet: Depth Before Dishonor Squat co & Pioneer. This will be a one-day, two-platform meet, with each of the sponsor for each platform.

When: June 15th, 2024 

Where: USA Fit Games @ Dallas Convention Center

General meet info email will be sending out around 2-month out to lifters who signed up.

The 2024 USAPL DBDS Pioneer Open is open to all currently registered USAPL members. 

USAPL Membership (required): USAPL Cards can be purchased online at www.usapowerlifting.com. 

All lifters must have been drug-free for the past thirty-six (36) months.

Registration Timeline: 

Early Bird Registration: $120 (Deadline - January 31st)

Regular Registration: $145 (February 1st - April 30th)

Late Registration: $170 (after April 30th if spots are still available)

1. Meet Schedule:

Meet day:

- Session 1 (Saturday): Regular Check-in with Equipment Check: 7AM. (USAPL ID & Photo ID are required. Show referees everything you're wearing on the platform)

Weigh-in: 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM (no exception). (openers & rack height are required before you go weigh-in)

Lifting starts at 9:30AM, ends around 1:30PM. Awards to follow.

- Session 2 (Saturday):  Regular Check-in with Equipment Check: 12:30PM. (USAPL ID & Photo ID are required. Show referees everything you're wearing on the platform)

Weigh-in: at 1PM, after you have your Equipment checked, to no later than 2:30PM (no exception). (openers & rack height are required before you go weigh-in)

Lifting starts at 3:00PM, ends around 7:30PM. Awards to follow.

- There is no Early check-in. 
Submit your rack heights if you already know them. All TSS racks whether old or new have the same heights. 
- Renew your USAPL Membership if "Expired" or "Incompleted".

- For Coaches, handlers, spectators, etc: please get your ticket at the Expo admission booth.

4. Weigh-in: (Session 1: 7:30AM - 9AM / Session 2: 1PM - 2:30PM)
- After having your Equipment checked.
- Line up based on your Lot number order.
- Have your openers ready in KILO & read them to the weigh-in officials when it's your turn.
- Allowable weigh-in apparel: nude, or wearing only undergarments, or wearing a singlet with or without a t-shirt.
- Weight class will be determined based on your bodyweight after you weigh-in.
